Sterling truck repair in Orlando

Sterling stopped building trucks in 2009, but plenty of Acterras and L-Line dump trucks are still working. We keep them going.

Sterling models

  • Acterra medium duty
  • L-Line: L7500, L8500, L9500 and LT9500
  • A-Line: A9500 and AT9500 highway tractors
  • The 360, a rebadged Fuso cabover
  • Older 9511 and 9513 tractors

Keeping an orphan make on the road

Sterling trucks share a lot with Freightliner and with the Ford L-Series they grew out of, and they run the same Cummins, Caterpillar, Detroit and Mercedes engines and the same Eaton Fuller, Meritor and Dana drivetrain found in other makes. That means parts are still out there. Transmissions, rear ends and their parts are stocked in our building, and we know where to find the rest.

We handle engine repairs, clutches and transmissions, rear ends, brakes, suspension, wiring and the bodies these trucks carry, from dumps to cranes.
