A full platform rebuild, start to finish

This box truck came in with the platform rusted through. A new gate would have meant a new pump, new cylinders and a new mounting kit. The frame and hydraulics were sound, so we rebuilt the platform instead:

• The rotted deck plate and the rusted top plate mounts were cut out.
• The platform frame was repaired and framed in with new steel.
• The long seals were replaced and joined to the frame.
• A new deck plate was welded in from underneath.
• Rust and scale were ground off the frame, steps and mounts, the gate was prepped, primed and painted.
